Our new roof!

This year we have had to do some major work to the Band room roof which has involved using a very large amount of our band funds. However we were very fortunate to receive a grant of £2500.00 from Wellington Town Council to help towards the cost of the new roof. The Band was extremely pleased with this amount and would like to thank the Council very much for their support. Without this grant the cost would have used up all of our funds and would have restricted us financially for quite a while.

We were very lucky to find a local company 'Hawkings Cladding' run by Jason Hawkings who understood our financial circumstances and did the job at a very good price. They went above and beyond to make the work run smoothly and to make sure that our tenant’s business was not interrupted during this time. We would like to extend our thanks to Jason and his hard working team.

The roof is now finished and will keep our Band and Tennant dry for many, many years to come.

Corporate sponsorship is a natural thing for us

We are pleased to be associated with Nurtured by Nature and K C S Autos who kindly made contributions towards the band's upkeep

It is important for us as a community band to associate ourselves local enterprises and their financial support has come along just at the right time.
