VJ Day Poster

Fri 15th August - Wellington VJ Day 80th Anniversary Event.

The band formed part of this years commemoration in Wellington Park, playing around an hour of musical selections in keeping with the era including, Bless 'Em All, As Time Goes By, Keep Smiling Through, and Armistice Hymn.

Sat 5th Jul - Welliestock

The band was out this morning kick starting an afternoon and evening of music at Welliestock.
We opened the event with pieces which included Baggy Trousers, Bohemian Rhapsody, Crocodile Rock, Is this the way to Amarillo, and Sweet Caroline, showing brass bands have a repertoire for all occasions.

Wellington Silver Band are very grateful to have had the chance to support this amazing local event and hope to join again next time.
