WSB members at SWBBA Workshop WSB members at SWBBA Workshop

A few band members attended the SWBBA February Workshop at Buckland School during the half term break. It was led by Christopher Bond, a leading Brass Band composer and arranger, with assistance from Tom Smith, principal cornet for Brighouse and Rastrick Brass Band and Sion Rhys Jones on Euphonium with Tredegar Band.

After two full days working on a number of pieces, we put on a closing performance which included The Black Knight March, Grandfathers Clock, You can’t stop the beat, Paint the Town Red and Mythic Trevithick!
