The band, in conjunction with The Wyndham Singers and Soloist Emily Vernon performed at the Tachi Morris Arts Centre in Taunton in support of the charity Mind in Somerset, who provided great help to our drummer and his family, after the recent sad loss of their daughter April.

Information advertising the event is at the link below

Emily sang arrangements of Over the Rainbow and On My Own, and the theme for the band for the evening was Music through the Years. Pieces included feature items like Highland Cathedral, and With a Little Help from my Friends, and other popular tunes including All in the April Evening, and Birdland, followed by a joint rendition of Sweet Caroline with the Wyndham singers.

Our thanks go to the following Sponsors for the evening:

Ridlers Coaches, Dulverton

The Football Fun Factory, Wellington

Howard SW, Taunton

and to businesses who donated raffle prizes:

and band members and singers who contributed prizes too.

The well supported raffle raised over £200 for the charity.

Finally our thanks go to Val for running the raffle, Julie & Dave Bulgin from Sherborne Band, Emily, the staff at the Tachi Morris Centre, and the Wyndham Singers for all their help in making the event such a success.
