The Band played carols at each station on the line
Wellington Silver Band played at many venues around Wellington over the 2023 Christmas period, including a BBC Radio broadcast service at Taunton Minster, and on the West Somerset Railway where ethusiastic crowds formed at each Station on the line and sang carols with the Band.
The Band also performed each Saturday on the run up to Christmas in the Town. This has been a repeated outing for the Band for many years, this year in dry conditions!! The people of Wellington are most supportive of the Band and enter into the Christmas spirit. A concert held at the Wellesley Cinema produced a capacity crowd.
The Remembrance service held in the Park as usual was again very well supported
